Job Responsibilities:

This position is responsible for planning and executing customer applications to demonstrate ULS's laser cutting, engraving and marking solutions. Plan and execute customer applications to demonstrate the value of laser materials processing solutions

Review customer requirements for each application with the channel partner

Optimize laser system set-up and laser processing conditions to provide the best laser processing solution for each customer application

Document results in written reports, supported by appropriate measurements, images and videos

Effectively communicate the results to customers

Produce stock laser materials processing samples to demonstrate the laser cutting, engraving and marking for common materials

Track sample inventory and order new materials as necessary

Understand the performance objectives for the new product or accessory that is being introduced

Execute testing according to schedule, and report results clearly and concisely

Requirements:

Higher diploma in Engineering / Physics or above

Ability to apply sound science and engineering concepts to address materials processing challenges

Good verbal and written communications skills

Ability to understand the materials processing needs of the customer

Strong customer service acumen

Self-motivated individual who can work and thrive in a cross functional team environment

Ability to manage multiple priorities

Experience: applications engineering: 2 years or above
